I especially like my Polaroid GO! Mini Instant camera. It is very portable and takes great analog pictures

Just got a impulse af for 15 bucks off craigslist. Look under weird tags people just toss polaroids into piles of stuff. Bought some film and took some great pictures.
Honestly the range of instant cameras is disappointing for me personally. I have an interest in instant film but a lot of the cameras are just ugly I guess? Instax Mini is too small for me, and then the wide and square format cameras themselves just look terrible. I love the style of Polaroid cameras but then the film itself all looks horrendous. Seems lomography have some nice wide formats, but at $200 I don't know why I would spend my money on that instead of just using my SLR. Massive shame.
that Instax Mini films are like $2 each. thats alot of money.

What is the best for landscape pictures? I do a lot of hiking and I have the instax 400 and it takes terrible pics on a cloudy day or even walking in trees and doesn’t do the best with landscape pictures they all come out almost black. I love how big the film is for the wides but also willing to adjust brands film size ext for a clear photo.

Not really a current "buyers guide" for Instax mini and square; more like the ones you have tried and like and some that are really old and hard to find. I really like the install mini 99 I would also mention the SQ40 since its currently the most attainable.
Just found this in my recommended. Been wanting to decentralize my phone and just started carrying a Camp Snap. Been wanting to go instant to keep from having to go to a PC to get my pics. What's your thoughts on Zink printer cameras? I feel like they're a bit more economical but I just don't know much yet.

I've had the Polaroid I-2 for a year now. It was cheap on black Friday sale through the Polaroids website. This camera is now my go-to instant camera. The portraits it makes at 1 meter and under are pretty incredible. Now if we could only solve the problem of Polaroid I-2 BW film turning yellow after a few weeks….

I really want a Nons, but the price tag is a bit to far when I already have 4 instax mini cameras and 2 instax wide 300 (one converted for instax square film).
There is 100% correct instax mini cameras to buy… it’s the neo90 or the mini 99. I feel like you are setting people up for failure by not telling people the most reliable instax mini cameras on the market. People can and will waste/ruin shots will some of those cameras. I know it can be part of the fun for some, but it’s mostly frustrating.

Why is SQ6 still recommended when it has really bad and inconsistent exposure and actually SQ40 does a better job on full auto than SQ6 with any additional tweaks you can choose?

I've been watching your videos for a while, especially when I abruptly got really really into instant photography a few years ago. I remember doing a TON of research and finding your videos on the instax mini 70, and I'm glad I did! Been wanting a camera for years now and finally tracked down a mini 70 back home on a reselling website in August. 95% of the time I have buyer's remorse on EVERYTHING (hobby-related things in gen), but i'm super super happy to report that the 70 is in the 5%!!
I haven't been able to shoot as much as I want to (busy with college—currently watching this during my study break) but I haven't been disappointed with a single picture! Been fiddling around with the controls so any problems is completely user error lmao. Glad to see you back in my feed!
My favorites of 2025: the Polaroid Flip, Go 2 and Lomo Instax Wide Glass.
