A lot of the cameras you show the Polaroids I have in my collection I’ve always loved Polaroid cameras.
I remember when you had a channel I used to enjoy it. I’ve been collecting cameras for over 60 years.
Price ?
Quality, to emphasize quality, that film is hard to find locally.
Really weird-looking video. Low contrast, odd camera angles, totally unnecessary cropped aspect ratio.
Kai. You were in Kingston, next time my B.
Thank You. Take Good care of You & Yours.
Instants are Good Fun even if a little Hit n Miss.
From the Time of Film.. Jurrassik.
Who shot this, on what? It looks bloody great. Great framing, great angles. Love it.
You sir, keep me f*g poor.
It took impolaroid 7 years to make a camera with a flippy uppy bit
I just dont get it. For $600 plus film I'm quite turned off.
I have the OneStep+ and while I love it most of the time, I’ve spent a lot of film that either is completely blurry or sometimes doesnt develop properly. Would you say it’s worth getting the Flip as an upgrade to my current one? I would def go for it for a lower price tag, but if the upgrade is worth it I’ll go for it!
It's amazing to watch how The tech is trying to use the "classic design" with the modern twist. Nice One!
Having watched abit of your channel… Have you thought about a DNA test? Or is the Polaroid style your aim? Not over thought… out of focus… I can never figure out if lok is shaking hands while filming you or knocking one off… Bit embarrassing
So where is the original Nikon D7000 Review video from DigitalRev!?? Where Kai starts out saying that he's jizzed in his pants 😂 I've watched it dozens of times, when buying the Nikon D7000. BUT NOW ITS GONE?? WHY?? We need it back! It was so well produced ❤
Mega meh.
Polaroid leaders are on the wrong path with this design. This is a $200 version of a camera that you can get for twenty bucks any day of the week. What does it offer?? itype film?? Who is approving these projects?? What a waste of time and money.
Yeah yeah, I'm sure I'm wrong. I'm sure there is a 12 person table at the headquarters with 11 people in exceptionally stylish eyeglasses sitting around it citing market research which says otherwis, but the thing is…. They're wrong.
Talk to the pot smoking crew members that put the 8×10 film together by hand out of love. Those are the people who you should be listening to. What are they suggesting?? That's what I want to see.
For the love of all that is holy, Polaroid. Can't you see how deeply our fearless defender Kai is suffering in this video?? Oh the humanity!
Hey!!! I missed you. Thanks youtube for recommending this video
expensive camera, and more expensiove paper
interesting the hype around lidar focusing on this model – many of the original polaroid cameras used this system
Would have been nice to hear about loading the film, finding where to buy the film, how much the film costs, and how much film the camera can hold.
James May? 👀
I really wish Polaroid film was more consistent. This is a cool camera.
It's not James Bond's bollocks, it's… Dambusters
Great looking camera, if only Polaroid would prioritise improving their film. Instax just makes more sense as a "happy go lucky" system in terms of price and image quality.
I have been thinking about getting an instant film camera for a while and this might be the one.
It's crap.
Also this has all the manual features, just via the app
Kai. If you are interested in Polaroid photography, we should meet!
Hey Kingston upon Thames
It's fascinating to see where the folks from The Impossible Project are taking the Polaroid brand
RIP Cecilia from FilMe
If only they produced better quality polaroid ala Fuji and also now in the US massive tariff/import costs
When I was a wee lad, my parents got me a Polaroid Swinger model 20 for Christmas. I can't fully express how much I loved that camera. I remember reading the manual over and over. The later instant cameras where the picture would come out and develop on there own was super high tech. Then one day a friend of my brother showed up at a picnic with a Nikon F2. I was fascinated.
this guy is a complete numbskull, pick it up, avoid the instructions, then question why it doesnt do exactly what the instructions tell you to avoid. and how is 2 "fixed" focus different from 4 zones. those are both still fixed
After my poor experience with the Polaroid gen 2, this camera is actually showing some potential. Putting a pin in this.
Some years ago I bought an old Polaroid 600 series camera from 2000 with the same flip design with round edges and the same autofocus system as this new Polaroid Flip for about 30 € at a local camera store in Germany.
I wish they had better film. There film is unreliable and overpriced. I love Instax Wide film. I wish Fuji made innovative Instax Wide cameras.
Omg! I found you! I remember when I started to get into cameras I found you on another channel but then the videos stopped. Nice to see you still into cameras.
Oh wow footage from 2010s when Filme was still around in CWB
Mostly shoot Instax, this is the first new Polaroid I have been excited about in a long time. This is the modern Sun 660! Instantly ordered it this morning off the Polaroid website. They have a special for new members, got the camera and a pack of film for $188. Great deal.
Did you forget to grade your footage or is the washed out flat nature supposed to invoke the old analog feel?
Can record in f-log?
