  3. Love the details on this set. But the mechanism is so cool it steals the show. Seeing how seemingly complex mechanisms such as these are made is probably my favourite part of Lego

    Also thought the just2good frame as you said ‘too good’ was hilarious lol I had to repeat that section a bunch.

    Just a few questions you may be able to answer.

    Who sits on board when reviewing ideas sets and how long does it take.

    Is the review virtual or in person?

    Are there permanently ideas employees?

    Do sets get approved in private and revealed to press before the public know and thus they start development.

  5. That gear mechanism was insane! I’ve never been so nervous while finishing the model, wondering if I did it right because there was no way of knowing until then end… and the parts moved so subtly when activated… super impressed with the end result. My son went around for hours afterwards, taking pictures of unknowing family members and friends (who believed the camera was real from the functionaity of the design) making up stories of why their picture was changed into the “girl on vacation” or the Edwin Land shot. Bravo on function and playability!!

    I have a question that I'm not sure if you can answer, but I'll ask anyway. What is the price difference between printing on a part vs. having the user add a sticker? Is it a significant cost savings?

  14. Haha. While watching the video I took off the side panel of my set and now I need the instructions again to see where this wedge plate belongs that came off along with it! 🤣

  18. I’m still debating on whether to do a video comparing your set to my Sears special replica (mostly due to time it would take to edit 😅) but, spoiler alert, I like your set a lot more. Something about it just feels right despite having to go with an even number of modules in width. Thanks for making a 5×5 cylinder in black btw 😎🤙
