The last couple of weeks I’ve been learning how to shoot instant film with the new Polaroid I-2 camera. Much love to Polaroid for giving me this wonderful opportunity!

Hello hello, I hope you enjoyed the video – would you be interested in seeing more Polaroid photography videos in the future? I will be experimenting with double (or more) exposures. So, if you‘d like I can document that process and make a video on that too :))
Much love to Polaroid for giving me this wonderful opportunity, thank you so much!
If you want to read more about the camera you can check it out here: https://bit.ly/46P7RpR
Have a great week,
Teo
I know it's been 2 years and the camera had change a bit, but I recently got into instant photography ( most likely will move to film as well, thanks to you). This video makes me shooting more and more. Watched it a couple of times already. Thanks 😀
Sorry but nothing beats the SLR cameras.
amazing video just thanks you
I would think Polaroid's BEST camera would be their large format 20×24 Polaroid camera. Still, a great video!
Thx for the great vid Teo… maybe you can do one with the new flip camera if that’s possible
Thanks for video❤ at the end of the video I’ve cried because of beauty and feelings
sorry but best polaroid ever was the SX70 😀
"Polaroids best camera ever" – someone who has never owned any other Polaroid camera
Beautiful video. Amazing job.
Please update this as the new firmware was just released and it improves auto exposure immensely. Thanks!
Its so beautiful u composed everything together so well ❤️ enjoyed , learned from it
I love the 15.32 selfie.
Omg, that would be an expensive hobby! 😅 so difficult to expose…
I firmly believe that the best Polaroid ever made is the SLR 680
"Best camera ever"??? You obviously have never shot with a Polaroid 600SE or a 180. This plastic lenses abomination is an overpriced joke.
you’re cringe
This just gave me an idea what to do with the extra film I have lying around
Hey can you make a video about Revolog’s 35mm film I just came across it and it looks sick
love it! I also love how you keep in and reflect on your mistakes.
Me getting tired during weekend: @13:24
HAHAHA 🤣
Thanks for this video. The exposure trouble you are having is not the film, its the i2. Surprisingly my 680SLR, and completely un-restored sx70 is far more consistent than my i2, nearly all shots properly exposed with the vintage cameras. Less than half with the i2 are. Heck even the cheap modern Polaroid go is consistent. You can manually meter with an external meter and put the i2 in manual, but that's annoying, especially when a 40 year old Polaroid is more consistent.
The video footage looks far better than the cold Polaroid. You must be looking for imperfections.
I have a small collection of film cameras that I love. I got a Polaroid Now thinking of it as a toy, and needless to say, 4 months after and I’m in love with it and using it almost exclusively. I need more control over the settings though. Might get an I-2 ❤
I want this camera so bad, very excited to add it to my collection one day
Brilliant video, and delighted that you took the time to learn how the I-2 worked, what settings it responds to for each unique situation, and this is shown in your results!! Arguably the best and fairest I-2 review I have seen.
I've never been impressed much with Polaroid, back in the seventies they were used in Professional studios as exposure tests. They then aquired the name of paranoids.Olympus had an ad featuring Lord Lichfield in his studio and on a cork board behind him were a lot of these Paranoids…………………………………………………..
Your videos are stunning! They make me inspired and relaxed all at once. I love watching your videos in between college classes to help me relax and enjoy life!
Thanks for doing this man! I was interested in buying the I2 but have seen some mixed reviews. Just got my first Polaroid Cam (sourced a brand new onestep2 VF in 2023 lol) and look forward to adding this to my arsenal. Big fan of Andrei Tarkovsky here btw!! did NOT know he worked with Polaroid film too!! This makes me feel like I just landed on the right format for myself out of sheer luck (I really like the dreamy vibe of the photos, the random noise and also notice a random noise gradient in some pictures too! Mad interesting tbh). Can't wait to try to get the Stalker greens in my shots… (Love that movie 😌)
The i2 certainly isn't the best polaroid ever, the reflex ones (sx/slr) were, and polaroid 600 film still remains to be revived to its former potential/quality.
great tips! keep up this content 🙂
What a wonderful heartwarming video, I recently got a instax mini for cheap money from ebay and I really enjoy how it makes you think so much more about your shots. But it also makes you appreciate every shot you do so much more. I bought a disposable analog camera and will try that medium now as well 🙂 thanks for your content Teo! It's really really helpful and just a delight to look at
Such a masterpiece! Would be able to do a video with tips and settings you use for best results? Thanks in advance.
Wtf that’s not fair mine jams every 5th shot and I end up wasting the rest of the pack you must have gotten the best version
your videos are soothing me. can anybody recommend me a cheap camera but is also good? i'm planning to save for one.
Been a fan of Polaroid instant photography for decades having bought my first camera back in the late 70’s. Looking at the new I-2 but the reviews and photo results have been rather disappointing until this review. I now think it’s a matter of people learning to use the manual controls on what was formerly just a point and shoot camera. Your results are more than satisfactory for Polaroid and actually show the full potential of what a manually controlled camera can accomplish. Great review
When you get up to the 10min mark, and you are taking us around for the self portraits and landscape photos, are you still using auto focus or have you switched over to manual completely at this point?
Are you metering everything first?
Next project should be jumping into the short film world and trying to create a short film out in that beautiful scenery, your shots in the video were beautifulllll
Great video. How did you end up in Austria?
Love anything Polariod , your video is very well done , though I would have liked a bit more treble w/sound. BTW yes the I2 is a great move forward .
so good!
his work gives me a happy feeling
Def the best I-2 review video I've seen. Excellent shots!
your videos are inspirational… i wish i have free more time.
I’m impressed by the level of consistency that you finally reached. I’ve burned through 3 plus packs of film already with very mixed results. Just when I thought I figured out its tendencies, it throws me for a curve. Can I ask, are you shooting on automatic solely with EV adjustments, or using manual mode and hand metering?
Any video that you could make with tips would be mightily appreciated! So far your video is probably the best I’ve seen for this camera.
Time passes by when I watch your videos ❣️
I’ve been curious about Polaroids but never went through. You’ve definitely inspired me to give it a go! The trial and error is inevitable but it’ll add its charm and eventually be polished
Hello Teo! i want to get my first camera model Minolta Srt-101 is it good? Thanks
