A Polaroid lift from The Roaches in Peak District National Park, England. I didn’t get too many photos that worked that day, but I sure liked this one!
Captured using my Polaroid Sun 660, the polaroid transfer, or emulsion lift, is a technique unique to polaroid film where you separate the photo from its original substrate and move it to another bit of paper. The image becomes malleable when doing this, allowing you to shift and fold it into unique and interesting arrangements. Such a cool and alternative way to use an instant camera, and easy to do at home!
