Polaroid Go vs Instax Mini: The Instant Camera Showdown Nobody Asked For

Polaroid

After my Polaroid Go first impressions video, exactly zero people asked me to compare it to the Instax Mini. But since my wife has used the Instax Mini for over 10 years, we decided to take both cameras on a day trip to Utrecht and see how they fare head-to-head.

In this video, we cover:
– Design & portability — who looks better and fits in your bag
– Photo quality — predictable Fuji vs. delightfully unpredictable Polaroid
– Price comparison — the difference in film costs per shot
– Creative features — like double exposure, self-timer, and flash control
– Final recommendations — which one I’d personally keep (and why we both stick with ours)

This isn’t a lab test—just a real, fun comparison using cameras we actually own and love. Drop a comment below if you own one of these and share your experience—I might have missed something that could help someone decide!

Thanks for watching. See you next time. Um cheiro! ✨

  1. I am more interested in knowing which camera did you use to make this video? And did you apply any filters afterwards?

Just beautiful! Your footage may be the reason I visit Utrecht one day.

  2. Great video, I loved the footage of Utrecht. Personally I love the design of the Instax and the photos are slightly bigger so that may win it for me.

  3. People will always complain about Polaroid prices and that's completely justified however people have to remember that Polaroid is back from the dead not a massive company like Instax. I love Instax but for me I love to think about how my photos could turn on Polaroid (as you mentioned) and I couldn't have said it better. Basically,I kind of like to baby my Polaroid film and it has that aesthetic to it that beats instaxes "real" feel.
