Stuck mentally debating with myself whether to buy a onestep plus from eBay, or get myself a Now+ gen 3 🤔
Certainly seems like the flash is better for indoors on the onestep plus!
Its not worth today to buy polaroid. Colors and quality just bad and ugly. Its not the same quality as in the past.
I have the Now + Gen 2 and hated it at first, but then I started using the manual settings in the app and really testing it in different light and wow what a different camera! I used to shoot the Spectra 1200 cameras a lot back in the day, I was also a professional photographer for 30 years, I feel like diving into the abilities of these cameras keeps my love for photography going. Love your channel here, great advice and just real talk about these cameras. I've also taken some of your tips and put them to use and it has helped me push my work more where I want it to go. Keep up the great videos!
Could you review 600 onestep express please ?
Looking to purchase a poloraid now gen 3 (not +) how does that fair up against this? Is it worth spending the extra for the plus even if im not interested in the extra control features?

Thanks for the review. For me and my fiancé’s wedding I was looking into having my niece use this camera to take pictures of all of our guest throughout the night and have them sign at the bottom of the photo so we can keep a scrapbook
does anyone in the comments have more extensive testing in the low light indoor environments with the gen 3?
Does anyone know how to lock the exposure? I point to the subjects and half-press the shutter, then change the composition, the subjects still underexpose. I am using now+ gen3.
Went out and got the Polaroid now gen 3. I don't get the black bars and I really enjoy the pictures of the outdoors and was bummed to find out that the gen 3 does not work with the app.
Could i modify the flash so it's brighter?

Hello , I would want to ask , how do you do a polaroid mosaic? And on a go gen 2 ? I have an idea how , but I am not sure abount it .
Maybe they have depowered the flash slightly to help address the overexposure issues the previous versions had.
did you know the NOW+ GEN3 has an app for manual control, maybe that's why its so dark
cant you increase the flash power through the app on gen 3?
I have also had a rather weak flash on my Impulse AF. Having used a OneStep 2 Stranger Things editions for over half a decade, any Now camera (and i1) was too poorly for flash pictures. Actually, i never had as „good“ of a result as you had, pictures were pitch black as, even at selfie distance, despite the flash going off.
Polaroid One 600 however, i remember them having a crazily good flash. Sadly it needs 600 film. Did you ever try those?
I’ve started getting a black bar on my One Step + photographs. I understand it’s an issue with the pick arm pushing the unexposed frame forward slightly. I tapped the camera lightly on the table before I shot the next frame and got no bar. Of course this could have been coincidence.
Did Polaroid up the price on the deal for the i2 I went and only see a discount for $399
Now+ gen3 is best to me
Was waiting for this video, but after that no idea what to do. The Gen 3 was my last hope for a modern Polaroid, but was thinking to get a one step 2 or plus for £50. After seeing the flash comparison the only one what’s left the I-2 but in my mind a Polaroid not worth 360-500 pounds what is limited anyway by the film. How you said the one step 2 stranger things edition has an updated flash. Any other one step model has this flash unit?
I love your honest reviews. It would be nice if this video got you off of Polaroid's naughty list, but that probably won't happen. BTW, I wonder if the black bar on the first two photos was due to the pack of film being faulty. I imagine the dark slide was sticking to the first shot, causing the first shot to be pulled down, and the second shot was probably sticking to the first shot a little. Moisture I think.
I have the Onestep + and love it. I know it's not a perfect camera, however I don't see any reason to replace it with the NOW+ gen 3. I have actually seen an improvement in picture quality the longer I own and practice with my camera. I do get the fun, really scuffed pics sometimes still haha
Can't you just crank the exposure compensation up when you gotta shoot flash in dark environments? Am I missing something?

I got the now+ gen 3 a few days ago, and I much prefer it to the now gen 2. Fiddling with the app settings takes time to get used to, though
