Is the Polaroid Flip the Ultimate Instant Camera?

Polaroid

I’ve been a fan of Polaroid for so long, so of course I was excited to get to go through all the features on the new Polaroid Flip.

  1. Ive had mine for a few days now and holy freaking cow omg. I feel like it really captures that VINTAGE vintage feel of original polaroids, but updated to look better with better tech, and more fun features. Its so amazing that they still produce 600 film so you CAN use vintage cameras, but still, i own the one step+, an impulse and impulse AF and polaroid go and now the flip and she will be coming with me everywhere. Ive already chewed through a pack and am almost through another one (mainly like to use it with my friends) and my friends come out way more crisp, the words and images on their clothes are way better, just all around an amazing camera. Not to mention the price being only like 50 bucks more than their entry level camera the NOW+ and you get soooo much more of a better camera, i think they nailed the price point on the head really. Mastering the focusing using sonar is gonna be fun too lol.

  2. Okay not gonna lie but the way this video is set up is that Polaroid went through all the hiccups of what ppl be wanting with all the downsides and how to fix it and this camera just does it

  3. It looks like fun, but pretty expensive film for 3×3" photos once the novelty wears off. You could get similar looking photos with a digicam and Canon Selphy 1500 printer that are about 1/4 the cost per 4×6 print (or 1/8 if you print two per sheet and cut in two). Plus you can make high-quality 4×6 prints, too.

  4. I tend to shoot vintage ones despite the cost bc they're more fun to operate than a Now, but this is a gamechanger
I love how it looks and feels, minus the short viewfinder eyepiece. You really gotta plant your face into the camera to see, and sunglasses are impossible to shoot with
