This was cool, but on a side note, I love how you talk about being a jock and now a photo nerd. I was a jock, I was also a photographer for the yearbook staff. In the end we are all photo nerds, which I say in the highest level of respect, because we all just love to play with our cameras and have fun. I love your excitement for photography and everything instant! I have just sold my (2nd) favorite digital camera ever, I still have my original Canon 1Ds from almost 25 years ago!!!! But that is my current pro digital camera and everything else is instant or novelty camera. Your page inspired me to jump down this rabbit hole again. Thank you for just being excited about this field of photography. I have been re-looking at all my Warhol, Helmet Newton and Linda McCartney Polaroid books again, I'm super inspired to just have fun with photography again after retiring from a very long career as a professional photographer. Sorry, but i dont agree. Any type of design-frame is pure bullshit. White frame is an empty space that allows my idea/image to stand out. Design frame is someone elses idea, which always must be in conflict with my image. Design frames are just prefabricated wannabe "cool" products. Anti creative, anti imaginative.

I saw that thrasher camera. It does look cool. I do agree with you. There should be film like that available to buy at all times. I wish they would have the red , yellow, blue, green films available at all times. I am always looking for something different.
